The Department of Agrarian Reform-Ilocos Norte distributed on February 19 five (5) common service facilities (CSF), particularly hand tractors with implements, to different agrarian reform-beneficiaries organizations (ARBOs) in the province.

The ARCCESS project is a support service delivery mechanism of DAR created to contribute to the overall goal of rural poverty reduction, particularly in agrarian reform areas. DAR expects to distribute more farm equipment through the ARCCESS in the coming months.
The recipients of the CSFs are the following: Nagsurot-Ampan Irrigators Association of Burgos; Tambidao Multipurpose Cooperative of Bacarra; LBN Multipurpose Cooperative of Vintar; San Lorenzo Irrigators Association of San Nicolas and Zanjera Pimentel-Anggapang Norte of Currimao.
Provincial agrarian reform program officer II Vic M. Ines and chief agrarian reform program officer Teresita T. Acang led the distribution. San Nicolas mayor Alfredo “Boying” P. Valdez Jr., Melvin Juan and Anthony Arvin Ganal of the Office of Congressman Rodolfo C. Fariñas witnessed the evet.
Before the distribution, they held the discussion and trust agreement signing regarding the policies on the use of the CSF and equipment.
