Rosita, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Singapore comes home for a month-long vacation or two during the Christmas season to be with her family. This Christmas, the association recognized her unyielding support in helping the association and the community a better place to live in. The citation on the award state in part: “For her unyielding support and commitment to Barangay 15 Senior Citizen Association of Laoag City, Incorporated, by donating monobloc chairs, various kind of medicines for senior citizens, and in sponsoring the Christmas party held on December 16 at the citizens center, thus helping to motivate them to work together to maximize their contribution in Nation-Building.”
