Laoag City—The Sangguniang Panlungsod here accredited five Non-Government Organizations in the city.
Laoag councilor Franklin Dante A. Respicio, who sponsored the measure, presented the five NGOs to the body.
They are the Laoag Association of Retired Teachers and Government Employees (LARTAGE); Barangay 15 Senior Citizens Association of Laoag City Incorporated; Zonta Club of Ilocos Norte; Government of Laoag Employees Development Cooperative (GLEDCO); and the City Agriculture and Fishery Council (CAFC).
The measure was approved unanimously without discussion by members present during a regular session.
