Batac City—Aiming to provide a centralized portal for localized learning process, the education department here launched its own web portal.
The web portal is designed to provide access to localized learning resource materials for anyone interested. Teachers here developed the materials.
Chief education supervisor Marilou B. Sales said that as per statistical count, June 21 reported the highest number of visitors with 124, which contributed to the 264 hits or views.
Ms. Sales said the portal contains number of localized learning materials in all subject areas: nine for English, six for Filipino, two for Mathematics, three for Science, two for Araling Panlipunan, five for Mapeh, three for EPP/TLE, two for kindergarten, and two for Values.
She added that most of the contextualized and localized learning materials are about the legends of the different barangays in Batac, historical, places, great leaders, products and maps. (Dominic B. dela Cruz)
